Since January 2018, my grandma has been in and out of hospitals and rehabilitation centers. From the days I have spent sitting at her bedside, I have seen a glimpse of what it is truly like to be a patient and to be on the other side of the room.

 

From not knowing what medications she was taking, when someone was going to come in to wheel her to a CT scan, or when her next meal was coming, I noticed that my grandma was more of an observer that was disconnected from the healthcare team.

 

This experience with my grandma is what inspired us to develop Tempos, an application that aims to put power back into the patient's hands.
